Hello, I’m Scott Rising

40 years ago my mom quit her job and traveled the world for two years. It was a trip she told me about my entire life and in many ways defined hers. Last December my mom passed away as a result of stage IV cancer she fought for four years. The timing seemed right for me to go on a trip of my own.

A trip around-the-world is something I’ve dreamed about my entire life. My goal with this adventure is to go to places she didn’t get the chance to visit and travel to the corners of the world that shaped her into the incredible woman I was lucky enough to call my mom.
